The project was designed using a combination of horizontal planes and staircases within an assigned 16m x 8m site perimeter and grid of columns.
The structure was initially treated as a solid, whereby the circulation system and interior spaces were created by subtracting pieces from the solid creating voids within the structure.
The structure is composed of two room types: open auditorium spaces, and leisure spaces. Both room types are linked through a network of staircases, encouraging the user to walk through the entire interior space.
